Recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established Multi-Academy Trust, Teaching Personnel are proud to be recruiting for a Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Taunton. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher seeking a part-time position within Key Stage 2 while focusing on what matters most – teaching and supporting pupils’ learning.
With pre-planned lessons provided, this role offers the chance to deliver engaging learning experiences without the added pressure of lesson planning and preparation.
- Position: Year 4 Primary Teacher
- Location: Taunton
- Salary: £2,000 – £2,400 per month (pro rata)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Permanent, Part-Time, Term Time Only
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging classroom environment where pupils can thrive. Working alongside experienced staff and teaching assistants, you will deliver high-quality learning experiences and support pupils both academically and socially.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons to a Year 4 class
- Supporting learning through whole-class teaching, alongside 1:1 and small-group support
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet individual pupil needs and abilities
- Maintaining strong classroom behaviour management and a positive learning environment
- Supervising pupils during transitions, break times, and throughout the school day
- Encouraging confidence, participation, and inclusion across all activities
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff to ensure consistency and support pupil progress
