Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with their learning and development
  • Working with individuals and small groups to provide targeted support
  • Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and lesson preparation
  • Helping create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with their social and emotional development
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining classroom routines
  • Providing support to pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

We Are Looking For

  • Experience working with children is desirable
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and their education
  • A patient, positive, and encouraging approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a wider school team
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
  • Experience supporting children with SEND would be advantageous but is not essential
