Your Responsibilities
- Support and, where appropriate, lead whole-class learning under teacher direction
- Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions
- Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience (essential)
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
- Confidence leading learning activities independently
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Experience supporting pupils with SEND (including ASD, SEMH, or learning difficulties) would be advantageous, but is not essential.
