As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across EYFS and Primary settings, helping to create engaging and inclusive learning environments. Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting teachers with daily classroom activities
- Delivering small group interventions and one-to-one support
- Assisting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Helping to create a positive learning environment
- Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
We welcome applications from graduates from a variety of degree backgrounds, particularly those with an interest in working with children, including:
- Education Studies
- Psychology
- Childhood Studies
- Early Childhood Development
- Sociology
- Sports Coaching or Sports Science
- Health and Social Care
- English, Maths, Science or Humanities
- Creative Arts, Music or Drama
You may have gained experience through:
- Volunteering with children or young people
- Sports coaching
- Youth work
- Tutoring or mentoring
- Holiday clubs or summer camps
- Nursery or childcare settings
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Considering a future career in teaching or education
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Positive, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
- Able to build rapport with children of different ages and abilities
- Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check (or have one on the Update Service)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
