Are you a passionate and dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in local schools? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for enthusiastic TAs to work across Swansea and Carmarthen.

Location: Swansea & Carmarthen

Pay: £14.25 per hour

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday (no weekends!)

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
  • Promote the use of the Welsh language in the classroom
  • Help create a safe and positive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning, CACHE, or equivalent) or a PGCE
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
