We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Class Assistant to support the Foundation Learning team. Requirements
- Has a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Is kind, patient and nurturing, with a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
- Can build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Understands the importance of play‑based learning and supporting children's well‑being and independence.
- Promotes inclusion and has high expectations for every child.
- Works effectively as part of a team and uses initiative when required.
- Is flexible, reliable and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience of working with nursery‑aged or primary‑aged children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Experience of supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
- Knowledge of child development and Foundation Learning.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development.
