Teaching Personnel are looking for a Learning Support Practitioner to work within a warm, forward thinking primary school team. This is a hands-on, purposeful role that is deeply rewarding. Your work will be varied, meaningful, and rooted in helping children access learning in the way that suits them best.

Daily rate: £92.63 per day

What You’ll Be Doing As A Learning Support Practitioner:

  • Working alongside the class teacher to support whole-class learning
  • Supporting behaviour for learning and promoting positive routines
  • Preparing resources, setting up activities, and contributing to a calm, purposeful classroom atmosphere
  • Working closely with pupils who have ALN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social-emotional challenges
  • Helping pupils regulate, focus, and engage
  • Creating a supportive, encouraging environment where children can practise skills at their own pace
  • Building trusting relationships that help children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn
