Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced, caring and committed ALN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across secondary schools and specialist ALN provisions in the Swansea and Carmarthen areas. The Role
- You will support pupils with a wide range of ALN needs, including:
- ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition)
- ADHD
- Dyslexia & Dyscalculia
- PMLD (Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties)
- SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs)
- Supporting pupils’ learning and classroom engagement
- Helping pupils with emotional regulation and social development
- Adapting resources, language and strategies to individual needs
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff
- Ensuring a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all learners
Requirements
- Enhanced Child‑Only DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
- EWC Registration (or willingness to register)
- Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN (preferred)
- Health & Social Care or related qualification (desirable)
- A patient, reliable, and empathetic approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
