We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a specialist residential service supporting young adults with severe and profound learning disabilities, as well as complex health needs. This is a highly rewarding role where you will help individuals develop independence, build life skills, and enjoy meaningful daily experiences within a supportive and engaging environment.
As a Support Worker, your duties will vary, but will include:
- Providing personal care, including support with hygiene, dressing, and appearance
- Assisting with medical needs and daily health routines
- Supporting therapeutic activities such as rebound therapy and hydrotherapy
- Encouraging independence and helping individuals make choices about their day
- Taking part in activities such as:
- Arts and music sessions
- Outdoor learning and forestry activities
- Shopping trips and community outings
- Skills-based and enterprise projects
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high-quality care
You will play a key role in creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment tailored to each individual. This residential service offers a supportive living and learning environment designed to help young adults transition into adulthood. Facilities include:
