Salary: £12.87 – £14.03 per hour (dependent on skills, experience & qualifications)

Bonus: £1,500 welcome bonus*

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 24 hours)

Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a specialist residential service supporting young adults with severe and profound learning disabilities, as well as complex health needs. This is a highly rewarding role where you will help individuals develop independence, build life skills, and enjoy meaningful daily experiences within a supportive and engaging environment.

As a Support Worker, your duties will vary, but will include:

  • Providing personal care, including support with hygiene, dressing, and appearance
  • Assisting with medical needs and daily health routines
  • Supporting therapeutic activities such as rebound therapy and hydrotherapy
  • Encouraging independence and helping individuals make choices about their day
  • Taking part in activities such as:
    • Arts and music sessions
    • Outdoor learning and forestry activities
    • Shopping trips and community outings
    • Skills-based and enterprise projects
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to ensure high-quality care

You will play a key role in creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment tailored to each individual. This residential service offers a supportive living and learning environment designed to help young adults transition into adulthood. Facilities include:

  • Sensory gardens
  • Hydrotherapy pool
  • Skills centre
  • Forestry school
  • Dedicated creative spaces
