This is a great opportunity to gain paid, hands-on experience in secondary schools across Plymouth while maintaining flexibility and building confidence in behaviour management and classroom delivery.
The Role:
- Supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of teaching staff
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe, productive learning environment
- Supporting students with their learning and keeping them on task
- Reporting any issues to the relevant staff at the end of the day
Requirements:
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) wanting experience in a school environment before September
- Individuals with some experience working with young people, ideally in a school, tutoring, or youth setting
- Confident, adaptable professionals who can step into a range of subjects and year groups
Competitive daily rates: £110 - £125, depending on experience
Choose your availability: work as few or as many days as you like around your current commitments

Qualifications:
- Degree or relevant qualification (QTS not essential for this role, but ideal for ECTs)
