What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the complex needs of students with SEMH/SEN profiles.
- Build trusting relationships that help students re‑engage with learning and develop positive attitudes.
- Use trauma‑informed, restorative, and child‑centred approaches to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Work closely with therapists, pastoral teams, and parents to ensure holistic support.
- Track progress and celebrate achievement, however small, to build confidence and self‑esteem.
What We’re Looking For
- QTS or ECT status.
- Experience within SEMH/SEN settings is beneficial, but a strong passion for inclusive education is essential.
- Excellent behaviour‑support strategies and emotional resilience.
- Adaptability, creativity, and a calm, consistent approach.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
