Are you an experienced SEND professional looking for flexible work that allows you to choose when and where you work? Teaching Personnel is recruiting Specialist Teaching Assistants to provide part-time supply cover across a range of specialist educational provisions in the Street area. These settings cater for pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, speech and language difficulties, learning disabilities and complex communication requirements.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in varied environments and enjoy supporting learners with diverse needs. As these are ad-hoc supply opportunities, we require professionals who can quickly adapt to new settings, build positive relationships and deliver high-quality support from the moment they arrive. No two placements will be the same. One day you may be providing one-to-one support, while the next could involve assisting a small group of learners or supporting classroom activities across different age ranges.

  • Strong teamwork and organisational abilities
