Overview
We are working with schools across Staffordshire who are seeking dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with their learning, confidence, and independence
- Helping children access classroom activities
- Working alongside teachers and SEN staff to provide personalised support
- Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with emotional, social, and behavioural needs
You may support children with:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Complex learning needs
- Speech and language difficulties
- SEMH needs
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in schools, SEN settings, childcare, care, residential, or support work is highly desirable. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
