Are you passionate about supporting young people with SEN? Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist SEN Secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate full-time Learning Support Assistant to join their team from the 5th January. This is a specialist secondary school for students with a range of complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD and social and emotional mental health challenges.
About the role:
- Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support to individual students and small groups.
- Assist students in accessing the curriculum and developing their independence, confidence, and social skills.
- Support pupils with personal care needs, where required.
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families.

- Has experience working with young people with SEN (in any environment).
