Salary: £140.00 - £220.00 per day (depending on experience)
We are working with a number of specialist schools, resource bases and mainstream secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent (ST3, ST4 & ST11) who are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs. Whether your experience is within Autism (ASC), SEMH, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), or Complex Needs, we'd love to hear from you.
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Supporting pupils with SEND to achieve their full academic, social and emotional potential
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and wider school staff
- Monitoring progress and adapting learning to meet individual EHCP targets
- Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) or Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
- Experienced in teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs, or passionate about moving into SEND
- Patient, resilient and adaptable
- Confident in managing behaviour positively and effectively
- Committed to delivering high-quality education for every learner
