Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with schools across the region who are looking for enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to begin their teaching journey from September 2026.

Whether you are completing your teacher training, have recently achieved Qualified Teacher Status, or are looking for the right school to begin your career, we have a range of opportunities available to support your next step.

Our partner schools offer a variety of environments, from welcoming primary schools with strong community values to supportive secondary schools with experienced leadership teams.

We work closely with ECTs to help find placements that match their subject area, teaching style, and career goals.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging lessons that support pupil progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet different learning needs.
  • Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff.
  • Assess progress and provide feedback.
  • Continue developing your teaching practice through reflection and support.

To Be Eligible For This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
