Teaching Personnel are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Behaviour Engagement Co-ordinator, working across a range of schools in Teesside. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them reconnect positively with their education.

Role Responsibilities

  • Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams to encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group mentoring to support self-regulation, confidence, and resilience.
  • Support the implementation of individual behaviour and learning plans.
  • Act as a visible, approachable presence around school to promote calm and consistency.
  • Assist with enrichment activities, community projects, work experience, and character development programmes.
  • Contribute to reward systems that recognise and celebrate student progress.
