We are working with a specialist primary in the Stockport area to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role with an immediate start date. The role would be focused on those with additional needs, as the school caters to primary aged pupils with complex requirements including autism, communication, physical and medical needs. The school works in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary way; working closely with staff, students and parents to deliver an education that caters to each individual child's needs.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant MUST have:

  • Experience in supporting young people in a school or care environment within the UK
  • Availability to work 08:30-15:30, Monday-Friday

It would also be beneficial for applicants to have:

  • Confidence in supporting instances of challenging behaviour
  • Experience of working with SEN, including complex autism and communication issues
  • A positive and proactive attitude

There is no option for part time roles. Due to the nature of our placements, those not currently residing in the UK are unable to be put forward for this role. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
