Your Role

You’ll work with pupils aged 5-16 who benefit from consistent support, structure, and positive relationships. In your day-to-day role, you will:

  • Deliver and support engaging, adapted lessons for learners with SEMH needs
  • Build strong, trusting relationships to support emotional regulation and engagement
  • Use de-escalation and behaviour strategies to maintain a calm environment
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to re-engage them in learning
  • Work closely with pastoral teams, behaviour mentors, and SEN professionals
  • Contribute to a safe, structured, and supportive classroom culture
