You'll help learners build confidence, improve attainment, and achieve their academic goals through engaging, personalised lessons tailored to their individual learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 English and Maths tuition to students with SEN.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet each student's individual learning needs and EHCP targets where applicable.
  • Support students in closing learning gaps and preparing for assessments.
  • Use differentiated teaching strategies to engage learners with a range of additional needs.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or tutoring English and Maths.
  • Experience supporting students with
  • Special Educational Needs (SEN)

, such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, or other additional learning needs.

  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and/or GCSE content.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
