- 1:1 tuition to students with
Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the SK1 area.
You'll help learners build confidence, improve attainment, and achieve their academic goals through engaging, personalised lessons tailored to their individual learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 English and Maths tuition to students with SEN.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet each student's individual learning needs and EHCP targets where applicable.
- Support students in closing learning gaps and preparing for assessments.
- Use differentiated teaching strategies to engage learners with a range of additional needs.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or tutoring English and Maths.
- Experience supporting students with
- Special Educational Needs (SEN)
, such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, or other additional learning needs.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and/or GCSE content.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
