Are you studying or have recently completed a Sports-related degree and looking to gain valuable experience working with children?
We are recruiting enthusiastic and energetic individuals to support pupils in schools across Teesside, helping children to engage in lessons, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
This role is particularly well suited to those interested in working with SEND pupils, providing additional support to children who may need encouragement, structure, and positive role models throughout the school day.
The role
- Supporting pupils in primary and secondary schools
- Using your sports knowledge and coaching skills to engage children
- Working 1:1 and in small groups, including pupils with SEND needs
- Flexible and long-term opportunities available
- Ideal experience for careers in teaching, coaching, psychology, or youth work
We're looking for
- Students or graduates in Sports, Coaching, PE, Sport Science, or related subjects
- Positive, resilient, and proactive individuals
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
Previous experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
