Teaching Personnel is looking for a Sports Graduate to join our supportive and inclusive graduate team for our schools across the South West. We cover Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

Sports graduates often make great teaching assistants (TAs) because they bring a unique mix of discipline, teamwork, communication skills, and practical knowledge that directly supports both classroom learning and extracurricular development. Here\’s why:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in classes, lead practical sessions, and support student learning.
  • Help run training sessions, ensure safe practice, and give feedback on performance.
  • Mark assignments, support tutorials, and guide students with coursework.
  • Track attendance, manage equipment, and assist in organizing events.
  • Support and motivate students; promote sports and wellness.
  • Help with data collection, analysis, and academic projects.
  • Attend training and work toward further qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
