We are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work on a supply basis within a welcoming and supportive secondary SEN school in Spennymoor.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) across different classes within the school. You will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals.

Role Details

Location: Spennymoor
Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Type: Full-Time, Supply
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Daily Rate: £95 - £105 per day (depending on experience)

The Role

  • Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Working across different classes and age groups within the school.
  • Providing both 1:1 and small-group support.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence.
