Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.
- Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage students' social and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil success.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A passion for inspiring young learners.
Desirable
- Experience teaching across multiple primary year groups.
- Knowledge of current educational practices and assessment frameworks.
- Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
