We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to work within Special Educational Needs settings in Southampton. This is a temporary role initially. For the right candidates who settle in well, schools are keen to discuss permanent opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs
  • Working closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour, and emotional development
  • Providing one‑to‑one or small group support
  • Creating a safe, nurturing environment

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Aged 20 or over
  • A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in any sector
  • Prior experience in a school or care setting is beneficial but not essential
  • Available to work 5 days per week
  • Able to work from 8.30am to 3.30pm
  • Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
  • Willing to complete required safeguarding and vetting checks
