We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to work within Special Educational Needs settings in Southampton. This is a temporary role initially. For the right candidates who settle in well, schools are keen to discuss permanent opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs
- Working closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour, and emotional development
- Providing one‑to‑one or small group support
- Creating a safe, nurturing environment
Qualifications / Requirements
- Aged 20 or over
- A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in any sector
- Prior experience in a school or care setting is beneficial but not essential
- Available to work 5 days per week
- Able to work from 8.30am to 3.30pm
- Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
- Willing to complete required safeguarding and vetting checks
