Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEN Support Assistants to work across specialist primary and secondary schools in Southampton that support pupils with EHCPs.

Students Supported:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Learning difficulties
  • Communication needs
  • SEMH challenges

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in the classroom
  • Work with small groups and individuals
  • Encourage independence and engagement
  • Help students develop social and emotional skills

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 days availability per week
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Relevant experience in Education or schools, Youth work, Care or residential support, Camp America, Sports coaching, Health or medical settings

Benefits:

  • All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
  • This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
