Pay:

  • Learning Support Assistants: £13.75 per hour
  • Teachers: MPS/UPS (£32,916 – £51,048)

About the Roles

Teaching Personnel are working with SEND schools and specialist provisions across Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire area to recruit qualified Teachers and Learning Support Assistants.

Role Responsibilities

  • Teachers
  • Deliver engaging, SEND-focused lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
  • Work closely with LSAs, SENCOs, and the wider school team
  • Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
    • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
    • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
    • Support children with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs

    Who We’re Looking For

    • Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
    • Experienced LSAs or Teaching Assistants
    • Individuals who hold an enhanced child-only DBS (or are willing to obtain one)

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
