Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available

Location: Southampton

Start Date: Immediate or September

Primary schools and early years settings across Southampton are seeking enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Nursery Practitioners to join their teams. We have a range of full-time and part-time opportunities available, with immediate and September start dates.

About the Role

  • Provide one-to-one support and work with small groups of children
  • Support teachers or nursery staff in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
  • Assist children with additional needs, including SEN

  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Observe and monitor progress, providing feedback to staff

What We’re Looking For

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or Supporting Teaching & Learning (preferred)
  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
  • A patient, caring, and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development
