We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join one of our welcoming and supportive primary schools in South Molton. You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons that support the development of key literacy, numeracy, and social skills, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Your Responsibilities

  • Teach a Year 1 class using engaging, creative, and inclusive lesson plans
  • Deliver high-quality phonics and early literacy sessions
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs
  • Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCO, and the wider school team
