As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:
- Deliver dynamic and engaging Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailored to a range of abilities
- Inspire students to develop a love for science and practical experimentation
- Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment, ensuring lessons meet curriculum standards
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and share best practice within a collaborative Science department
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and high expectations
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused learning atmosphere
- Support students’ academic progress and personal growth, including preparation for GCSE examinations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Chemistry within a UK school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the wider school community
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
