Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Start Date: September 2026 About the Role We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across our inclusive and nurturing school community. Working Schedule Monday - Friday, term time only plus INSET days Key Responsibilities • Deliver planned lessons under the guidance of teaching staff • Provide whole-class, small-group and targeted intervention support • Support pupils with a range of additional needs to access the curriculum • Contribute to planning, assessment and pupil progress monitoring • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning environment • Help promote pupils’ independence, confidence and wellbeing About You We are looking for someone who: • Holds HLTA status or has equivalent experience • Has strong classroom practice and the confidence to lead learning • Can build positive relationships with children, staff and families • Is flexible, proactive and committed to inclusive education • Has experience supporting pupils with SEND (desirable) • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills What We Offer • A friendly, supportive and forward-thinking staff team • A caring and inclusive ethos where every child is valued • Opportunities for continued professional development • Engaged, enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning Safeguarding Statement We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
