About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to work alongside teachers in supporting pupils’ learning and development. This role is suitable for working with children who may require additional support to reach their full potential, including those with learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, or other additional needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
  • Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independent learning

  • Helping with personal care where required
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience working with children in school or care settings

  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Are flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic
  • Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) or are willing to work towards one

Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs is desirable but not essential.
