Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with SEN within a welcoming mainstream primary school. This rewarding full-time role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to a child's educational journey by providing the consistency, encouragement and support they need to succeed.
- Pay rate: £14.25 per hour
- Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (term time only)
- Contract type: Full-time
Responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
- Supporting small intervention groups when required
- Working closely with teachers and the wider school team to promote positive outcomes

- Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants

- Youth workers, nursery practitioners, and learning support assistants
- Individuals with personal or professional experience supporting people with additional needs

You will need:
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- At least two years' employment history
- A Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
