TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors to provide high-quality one-to-one tuition across Sherborne and surrounding areas. We support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and learners who require additional support to re-engage with education. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference through personalised learning.

Location: Sherborne and surrounding areas

Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities

Pay: £25–£30 per hour (inclusive of statutory holiday pay)

Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings, or learners' homes

As an SEN Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition tailored to individual learner needs
  • Plan engaging lessons that support academic progress and personal development

  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate session records
  • Develop positive, supportive relationships with learners, families, and education professionals

Experience required:

  • Working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, teaching assistance, or education support
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
  • Ability to travel across Sherborne and surrounding areas
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
