Upton Noble Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing. Previous experience working in a school or similar setting is ideal; however, we also welcome applicants with relevant personal experience and a genuine interest in working with children.
The successful candidate will:
- Support pupils in the classroom and in small groups
- Work closely with teachers to help deliver engaging learning activities
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Be patient, caring, and reliable
Safeguarding Requirements:
- A DBS registered on the Update Service is desirable, but not essential
- Applicants must be willing to apply for a DBS if they do not already have one
- Willingness to complete full vetting and registration checks is required
Before accepting the position, candidates will be invited to attend an introduction morning at the school as part of the recruitment and induction process.
