We are seeking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible
Salary: Competitive Rate
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
About the Role (TA):
Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and adapting materials to meet individual needs.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Support pupils with personal care and mobility where required.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Requirements (TA):
Previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are advantageous.
About the Role (Teacher):
Experience in a Primary or Seconadry school setting however ECT’s are equally as welcome
Strong experience within the special educational needs (SEN) sector
Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning styles and abilities
Has a strong understanding of a Primary curriculum
Maintains the high expectations for learning and behaviour that the school hold
Variety of adapted teaching across KS1, and KS2
Requirements (Teacher):
A qualified teacher (QTS) with preferred secondary experience
Strong knowledge and experience working with SEN students
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
