Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools across Sheffield. These roles are incredibly rewarding and provide the chance to help pupils overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your role may involve supporting pupils with:
- Autism (ASC) - providing structure and communication support
- ADHD - helping pupils stay engaged and focused
- Challenging behaviour - using patience and positive strategies to encourage progress
- Learning difficulties (MLD/PMLD) - adapting learning to meet individual needs
