Are you a passionate and qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Sheffield? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools and nurseries in the S10 area and surrounding communities. We are working closely with a number of welcoming schools that require experienced support staff to help children thrive during the crucial early stages of their education.

The Role

  • Support children aged 3-5 years within nursery and reception settings.
  • Assist with the delivery of engaging and creative learning activities.
  • Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs through individual and small-group interventions.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider school team.
  • Observe, monitor, and report on children's progress and wellbeing.

Requirements

  • A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
