Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and committed EYFS and KS1 teachers to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools across North Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators looking for an immediate start or a position from September 2026. We are looking for teachers who can create engaging, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environments while supporting pupils in the crucial early stages of their education.
The Role
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, school staff, and parents/carers
- Maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour and safeguarding
Requirements
- Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT). Only fully qualified teachers and ECTs will be considered; applications from unqualified teachers or candidates without QTS will not be accepted.
- Successful candidates will ideally have:
- Experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1 (including placements for ECTs)
- Strong classroom management skills
- A positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
