- Support children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities.
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, nursery practitioners, support staff, children, and parents.
- Support daily routines, classroom activities, and personal care where required.
- Promote children's social, emotional, and physical development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Encourage positive behaviour and help children build confidence and independence.
Requirements
- Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, childcare setting, or primary school .
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, positive, and proactive approach to supporting young children.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
