SEN Tutor

Salary:

£25 - £35 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to help students achieve their academic goals
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Work collaboratively with other educators and professionals to support student development

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a teaching or tutoring role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of SEN legislation and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
• Experience working in a SEN school or specialist setting

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours, flexible schedule
• Work primarily in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students
• Opportunity for remote or online tutoring

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
