Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to help students achieve their academic goals
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Work collaboratively with other educators and professionals to support student development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a teaching or tutoring role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
- Experience working in a SEN school or specialist setting
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students
- Opportunity for remote or online tutoring
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
