SEN Tutor – Thurrock
£20–£30 per hour | Flexible hours
We are seeking experienced and passionate SEN Tutors to work with children and young people across Thurrock .
You will be supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs , including Autism (ASC), ADHD and Dyslexia , delivering high-quality, personalised tuition that helps learners build confidence and make progress.
The Role

Assess students’ current attainment and individual needs

Plan and deliver a tailored scheme of work

Provide engaging English and Maths tuition

Adapt teaching approaches to suit each learner

Deliver sessions in the student’s home, local centre, or school

Work with learners from EYFS to Post-16 (experience in any part of this range is welcome)
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience

Proven experience working with students with SEN

Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Maths
-
Patient, reliable, and student-centred approach

Ability to plan and deliver structured, engaging lessons independently
