SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary

SEN Teaching Assistant Secondary Pay: 90 100 per day (depending on experience) Location: Whitleigh, Plymouth Start Date: ASAP ongoing, with potential to extend into the new year and become a contracted school role We are seeking a confident and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary SEN school in Whitleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs. About the Role: Support secondary-aged students in small group and one-to-one settings.

Assist across a range of subjects, adapting materials to suit individual learning styles. Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour. Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure every learner achieves their best.

About You: Confident supporting secondary-aged students or delivering secondary curriculum content . Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach. Experience working with SEN students is desirable, but strong behaviour management and enthusiasm are equally valued.

Team player with excellent communication skills.
