We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 basis within primary schools across Southport, Ormskirk and surrounding areas. There is a particular demand for support within EYFS and KS1 settings, with schools looking for committed and adaptable individuals to support pupils with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 support to pupils within the classroom.
- Supporting children with autism, SEMH or behavioural needs.
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs.
- Helping to create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting both academic and social development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
- A patient, adaptable and caring approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Pay & Availability
£14.30 to £15.50 per hour. These roles are available for immediate start as well as September positions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
