A supportive and inclusive primary school in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teacher to work within its specialist SEN Hub from September 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and tailored learning opportunities to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to achieve their individual targets and reach their full potential. You will work closely with support staff, school leaders, parents and external agencies to provide a positive and nurturing learning environment.
We are looking for a compassionate, patient and adaptable teacher who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and has the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues alike.
Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Start Date: September 2026
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Pay: £150–£175 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
