The Role

As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of additional needs including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD, and SLD

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies using positive behaviour strategies

Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual EHCPs and learning profiles

Collaborate with LSAs, therapists, and the wider SEN team

Track and assess progress, often using alternative assessment tools

Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all pupils can thrive

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS), ECT\'s welcome to apply

Recent experience teaching children or young people with SEN in school or alternative provision settings

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and student needs

A calm, resilient, and reflective approach to teaching

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
