Are you looking to make a positive difference in the lives of young people? Teaching Personnel are seeking Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools across Liverpool for the new academic year.
The role will involve:
Supporting pupils with a variety of needs such as Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and learning difficulties.
Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Delivering tailored interventions on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
Who we are looking for:
We welcome applicants from all walks of life and different levels of experience, including:
Teaching Assistants or classroom-based staff looking to continue their career in education.
Care or support workers experienced in working with children or vulnerable adults.
Youth workers, mentors, sports coaches, or those with experience supporting young people in the community.
Graduates in Psychology, Education, Social Sciences, or related fields who are eager to gain practical experience.
Individuals with personal or voluntary experience of supporting those with additional needs.
Requirements:
A compassionate, reliable, and flexible approach to supporting young learners.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A DBS certificate on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
