About the Role
Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a range of schools across Pembrokeshire, recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN / ALN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional learning needs. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people, supporting them both academically and emotionally.
You will support learners with a range of needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)
- Physical and/or sensory needs
Opportunities are available in both mainstream schools and specialist provisions, working either 1:1 or with small groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with ALN to help them access learning and reach their full potential
- Follow and implement strategies from Individual Development Plans
