We are looking for a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide full-time 1:1 support to a primary-aged child with ADHD. The Role You will work closely with the child, class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent support throughout the school day. You will help the child to engage positively with learning, develop confidence and independence, and manage the challenges they may experience in the classroom. Key Responsibilities Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day. Encourage engagement and participation in classroom activities. Support the child with focus, attention, organisation and transitions. Build a positive, trusting relationship with the child. Use appropriate strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour. Adapt activities and learning approaches to meet individual needs.
