The Role

We are seeking a resilient, committed, and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join Teaching Personnel on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils who may face barriers to learning due to emotional or behavioural challenges.

You will work closely with class teachers and a multidisciplinary team to support pupils with a range of needs, specifically focusing on SEMH, ADHD, and attachment difficulties. Your role will be pivotal in helping students regulate their emotions and re-engage with their education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs, focusing on behavioural targets.
